Cancelling an order

• YMS Originals and Personalised Storybooks: you can cancel for a full refund within 2 hours of ordering, as long as your book hasn’t gone to print. After that, it is being made for you and can’t be cancelled.
• Bespoke Keepsakes: you can cancel for a full refund until we start writing your book. Once we’ve started, you can cancel before you approve your preview and we’ll refund half of what you paid, to cover the writing and illustration already done. Once you approve the preview, the book goes to print and can’t be cancelled.

To cancel, message us on WhatsApp or by email with your order number as soon as you can.

Change of mind

Because every book is personalised, we can’t accept returns or give refunds if you change your mind, or for mistakes in names, words, spelling or photos that were in the book you approved. This does not affect your rights under UAE consumer law.

If something is wrong with your book

If your book arrives damaged, misprinted, with a binding fault, different from the preview you approved, or doesn’t arrive at all, we’ll reprint it and send it again free of charge, or refund you in full if you prefer.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. We don’t need the book back unless we ask for it.

How refunds are paid

We refund to the card or payment method you used, within 7 working days of agreeing the refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. Gift wrap, gift boxes and delivery are refunded too when the whole order is refunded because of a problem on our side.
