1. Who we are

YourMemoirStudio (“YMS”, “we”, “us”) is a trading name of Ladi brothers L.L.C-FZ, a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai (Meydan Free Zone licence 2539425.01). When you order from this website, your contract is with Ladi brothers L.L.C-FZ.

2. What we sell

• YMS Originals (from 120 AED): our own stories, with the characters you design.
• Personalised Storybooks (149 AED): you design the characters and write the words on every page.
• Bespoke Keepsakes (399 AED for 16 pages, 449 AED for 20 pages): you send us photos and memories, we write and illustrate the book, and you approve a preview before we print.

Every book is printed. You can upgrade to a hardcover (+60 AED), add a digital copy (+60 AED), gift wrap (+25 AED) or a gift box (+25 AED). Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). The delivery charge, and any VAT that applies, are shown at checkout before you pay.

3. Placing an order

When you pay, we email you an order confirmation. Your order is accepted, and the contract between us begins, when we send that confirmation. You must be 18 or older to order.

We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is wrongly priced, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if the content you give us breaks section 5.

4. Checking your book

Every book is made to order from what you enter: names, characters, words, photos and dedications. Before you pay, please check the preview carefully, including spelling. We print what you approve, and we can’t reprint for free because of a mistake in what you entered (see our Cancellations & refunds policy).

Colours on paper can look slightly different from your screen, and the page layout may be adjusted a little for printing.

5. What you send us

You confirm that you have the right to use any photos, names and words you give us, and that anyone pictured in your photos is happy for them to be used in the book. Please don’t send anything offensive, unlawful, or that belongs to someone else. We may decline to print content that does.

You keep all rights to your own photos and words. You give us permission to use them only to make, print and deliver your book and your digital copy. We will never use your book, photos or characters in our marketing without asking you first.

6. Our stories and artwork

The stories, illustrations, characters, designs and website belong to YourMemoirStudio. Your book and digital copy are for your own personal use and as a gift. Please don’t copy, sell or publish them.

7. Delivery, cancellations and refunds

These are explained in our Delivery policy and our Cancellations & refunds policy, which form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under UAE consumer protection law.

8. Our responsibility

If a book arrives damaged, misprinted or doesn’t arrive, we will reprint it or refund you, as set out in our refunds policy. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, and our total responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as courier disruption, severe weather or public holidays.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai can settle any dispute.
